🏈 The Pittsburgh Steelers have 101 regular season wins over the last 10 years, which is tied for second-most in the NFL. The Buffalo Bills also have 101 wins. Only the Kansas City Chiefs (123) have more regular season wins than the Steelers and Bills over the last 10 years.

Despite the Steelers success in the regular season, they haven’t won a playoff game in eight years.

🏈 ESPN’s Mel Kiper named the Steelers as a team to give a hard look at Texas wide receiver Matthew Golden:

“Texas teammate Isaiah Bond might have received the buzz coming into the Combine, but Golden stole it with a 4.29-second run in the 40,” Kiper wrote. “He has serious wheels. Golden didn’t do the jumps, but that 40 time will propel him up the board. His production was impressive last season (987 yards and nine touchdowns), and he emerged as the Longhorns’ top receiver, despite the expectation that Bond would be that guy. Golden entered Combine week as my No. 5 receiver in the class and in the early-Round 2 mix. But now, he is probably a top-25 pick. The Steelers (No. 21) and Chargers (No. 22) could give him a long look.”

🏈 Recently released Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Darius Slay played for Teryl Austin for four years in Detroit, so some sources wonder if a potential reunion in Pittsburgh could happen, according to CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones.

🏈 NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah believes Texas wide receiver Matthew Golden is the best receiver in this year’s class. Golden turned heads at the NFL Combine by posting a blazing-fast 4.29 (official) 40 time.

Golden met formally with the Steelers at the Combine. Golden said that they didn’t talk much ball but it gave him an opportunity to let them know his story and who he is as a person.

🏈 After his impressive performance at the NFL Combine, former NFL general manager Mike Tannenbaum thinks Matthew Golden is without a doubt the best wide receiver in this year’s class.

“Teams won’t pass on the speed/route-running ability,” Tannenbaum wrote.

🏈 Happy Birthday to Steelers wide receiver George Pickens, born on March 4, 2001 in Hoover, Alabama.
