The dates of the 2021 NFL Draft in Cleveland have been announced.

The Draft will be held from April 29th through May 1st, scheduled a week later than this year’s event.

Cleveland will be the fifth different city to host since the NFL moved away from its then permanent residence in New York City back in 2015.

According to a press release from the Browns on Tuesday, “the event will bring NFL fans together at iconic locations around FirstEnergy Stadium and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame to celebrate the game of football and show the world what makes Cleveland a destination city.”

The Browns will also be celebrating their 75th anniversary as a franchise throughout 2021.

Next year’s draft should mark a return to normalcy for the NFL, as they rejoin their rotating city format. The 2020 NFL Draft — originally to be held in Las Vegas — had to be moved to an entirely virtual format amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

The league is making good with Las Vegas and the Raiders, announcing last week that they will get a second chance and be the host city for the 2022 NFL Draft.

Kansas City will host the Draft for the first time ever in 2023.
