PITTSBURGH — The Steelers scratched three healthy players in addition to four players that will miss the team’s Week 3 game against the Cincinnati Bengals at Heinz Field on Sunday.

Quarterback Dwayne Haskins, guard Rashaad Coward and cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon were all healthy scratches for the Steelers. Haskins and Coward have yet to suit up, while Witherspoon was dressed in Week 2 against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Nost takle Carlos Davis (knee), outside linebacker Alex Highsmith (groin), wide receiver Diontae Johnson (knee) and outside linebacker T.J. Watt (groin) had already been ruled out. Defensive tackle Tyson Alualu was placed on the injured reserve on Monday with an ankle injury.

Two players called up from the practice squad, outside linebacker Derrek Tuszka and wide receiver Cody White, are active.

Cornerback Joe Haden and inside linebacker Devin Bush Jr. both returned to the lineup after missing Week 2 with groin injuries.

The Bengals did not dress wide receiver Tee Higgins (shoulder), offensive guard Xavier Su’a-Filo (leg) and cornerback Trae Waynes (hamstring), who were all doubtful to play.

Cincinnati also scratched cornerback Nick McCloud, former Steelers tackle Fred Johnson and nose tackle Tyler Shelvin.
