You have to go all the way back to 1965 to find the last time the Pittsburgh Steelers were able to come away with a win in Philadelphia. In order to do so this week, they’ll have to make do without several key starters in George Pickens, DeShon Elliott and Larry Ogunjobi. The Eagles have been the source of some internally manufactured drama this week after narrowly escaping a scare given to them last week by the Carolina Panthers. What does head coach Mike Tomlin’s squad need to do in order to pull off the upset on the road?

Steelers Now analyst Derrick Bell breaks down the matchup, detailing everything you need to know from schematic tendencies and statistical trends, players that will decide the outcome and various things you’ll want to pay very close attention to as the game kicks off. This game kicks off a vicious end of season schedule and even though this is an out of conference bout, the Steelers are fighting for the playoff positioning and a home game to start the postseason. This has potential to be a heavyweight fight by two of the hottest teams in the entire NFL right now, both of which are cut from the same cloth and built in the trenches.
