Draft Talk: Reaction to Steelers Selection of Washington OT Troy Fautanu
PITTSBURGH — Nick Farabaugh and Alan Saunders of Steelers Now were at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on the South Side on Thursday as the Pittsburgh Steelers announced their selection of Washington Huskies offensive lineman Troy Fautanu with their first round pick at No. 20 in the 2024 NFL Draft.
After talking to Fautanu, Pittsburgh general manager Omar Khan and head coach Mike Tomlin, Alan and Nick broke down the selection, comparing him to the other options on the Steelers’ board when Khan made his pick and breaking down where he will fit in the Steelers’ offense and how his skillset will translate to the NFL.
