Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris has the fifth-best odds to win NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and the best for a non-quarterback.

Harris is +800 to take home the hardware at season’s end, courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Only quarterbacks Trevor Lawrence (+300), Justin Fields (+600), Trey Lance (+600) and Zach Wilson (+700) have better odds than Harris.

Selected with Pittsburgh’s first round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, Harris will be expected to accept a significant workload in his rookie season. If he turns those opportunities into production, Harris will absolutely be in the running for Rookie of the Year.

A two-year starter for Alabama, Harris was outstanding during his senior season in Tuscaloosa. He ran for 1,466 yards and 26 touchdowns, but also demonstrated his versatility as a receiver, tallying 43 receptions for 425 yards and four more scores in 2020.

Not only did Harris win the National Championships with the Crimson Tide in January, but he was also named a unanimous All-American and awarded the Doak Walker Award as the nation’s top running back.

The last running back to take home Rookie of the Year honors was the New York Giants’ Saquan Barkley in 2018. Four running backs have won the award over the last decade.
