DraftKings Gives T.J. Watt Third-Best Odds to Win NFL Defensive Player of the Year

DraftKings Sportsbook has released odds for 2021 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, and Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt is one of the favorites.

Watt has the third-best odds to win the award at +700.

Watt led the NFL with 15 sacks, 26 tackles-for-loss and 41 quarterback hits a season ago. He also totaled 53 tackles, seven passes defended, two forced fumbles and an interception.

He has been selected to three-straight Pro Bowls and been named First-Team All-Pro the last two seasons. Watt was also named Steelers team MVP in 2019 and 2020.

Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald, who narrowly edged out Watt for the honor in 2020, is the favorite once again at +400. Donald received 27 votes for Defensive Player of the Year last season, while Watt garnered 20.

Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett is also narrowly favored ahead of Watt at +600.
