Former Steelers Quarterback Duck Hodges Released by LA Rams
Former Steelers quarterback Devlin “Duck” Hodges has been released by the Los Angeles Rams, per a tweet from the team’s Twitter account.

Hodges started the Rams’ first preseason game against the LA Chargers on August 14, completing 11 of 19 passes for 85 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception, resulting in a 47 quarterback rating. He did not see action this past Saturday against the Las Vegas Raiders with Bryce Perkins playing the entire game.
The 25-year-old undrafted free agent from Samford finished 3-3 as a starter for the Steelers in 2019 with Ben Roethlisberger out for the season, throwing for 1,063 yards, five touchdowns, and eight interceptions in eight total games, including a 24-17 victory on Sunday Night Football in front of a Steeler-heavy crowd in LA against the Chargers.
Hodges spent the 2020 season on the Steelers practice squad before signing a reserve/futures deal with the Rams on January 24.
