The Pittsburgh Steelers have been connected to nearly every quarterback on the market this offseason, as the team enters 2024 with uncertainly at the game’s most important position. Kenny Pickett lost his starting job down the stretch run of 2023 to Mason Rudolph, but the team seems committed to at least giving Pickett another shot to win the job.
That could mean a return from Rudolph as Pickett’s competition, but there are also external options that could be upgrades. The most intriguing of those might be Justin Fields from the Chicago Bears, who is likely to be traded. Does trading for Fields make sense for the Steelers?
Alan Saunders of Steelers Now joined Jenna Harner from our partners at WPXI, Mike DeFabo of the Athletic and former Pitt, Penn State and Central Catholic linebacker Johnny Petrishen to break down Fields as a potential trade target for the Steelers. The panel also broke down the Pittsburgh Penguins retiring the jersey of Jaromir Jagr, which Pittsburgh athlete should have his jersey retired next, unwritten rules in sports and more.
