Former Steelers OLB Cassius Marsh Hired by Aaron Rodgers’ Media Company

The Pittsburgh Steelers released outside linebacker Cassius Marsh as part of its cuts to get down to 53 players on Aug. 31.

But the veteran edge rusher wasn’t out of work long. On Wednesday, Online Sports Database, a website founded by actor Ryan Rottman and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, hired Marsh as a columnist.

The site, which launched in April, is designed to cover athletes off-the-field interests, including business ventures and charity work. The site profiled Marsh and his Magic the Gathering hobby and the trading card shop he owns in June.

Now, Marsh will write about the business of cards and games for OSDB, along with former NFL safety Donte Whitner, who will cover finances and pop culture. Marsh has not retired from the NFL.
