Former Steelers Punter Brad Wing Joins XFL Draft Pool

Former Steelers punter Brad Wing is the latest former member of the Black and Gold to be announce as part of the 2019 XFL Draft pool.

Wing, an Australian punter from LSU, played for the Steelers in 2014 before being traded to the New York Giants in advance of the 2015 season.

He spent three seasons in New York and part of the 2019 spring with the Memphis Express of the AAF.

He joins wide receiver Demarcus Ayers, tight ends Cameron Clear, Mickey Crum, Jake McGee, Scott Orndoff and Weslye Saunders, linebacker Terence Garvin and cornerbacks Al-Hajj Shabazz and Jack Tocho in the draft pool, which is expected to total 1,000 players.

Quarterbacks, including former Steelers quarterback Landry Jones, are not a part of the draft and will be assigned to teams by the league.
