Antonio Brown’s NFL career has been nothing short of dramatic. While things were somewhat quiet in Tampa Bay before the year, things have heated up recently. Now, as the Buccaneers trail the 4-11 New York Jets, Brown appears to have quit the team mid-game.
Brown was seen heated on Tampa Bay’s sideline. While teammate Mike Evans tried to calm Brown down, it seemingly did not work. Brown ended up taking his uniform and pads off and throwing them into the stands. Then, he exited the field, leaving the team. He has yet to return to the field.

According to the broadcast, stadium security initially thought that Brown was a fan and was prepared to tackle him.
Still, this is the latest iteration in the saga that is Brown’s career. For everything that has occurred over the past three seasons of Brown’s career, it felt like his chance with Tampa Bay was potentially his last. Now, it is easy to see Brown getting released and the team moving on. Even though Bruce Arians admitted that they kept Brown around because it helped their football team, it appears that this may be the breaking point for Brown and the franchise.
That was his last game playing in the NFL…

Regardless of what went down, this followed a clear pattern for Brown ever since his departure from Pittsburgh. Brown certainly has one of the most prolific careers of anyone at the receiver position in NFL history. But these events have marked the end of his career, so it would not be surprising if this was the last time Brown stepped on an NFL field.
