Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver and Super Bowl champion Emmanuel Sanders is joining the NFL Network as a studio analyst, the league announced in a press release Wednesday.

Sanders is set to make his debut this Sunday on the NFL Network’s flagship pregame show NFL GameDay Morning. He will appear across a number of other weekly programs on the network, and will co-host a podcast for the NFL Podcast Network that is still currently in development.

“After 12 years in the NFL, I am excited to take what I have learned on the field and be able to provide my insight and opinions about the game I love on NFL Network,” Sanders said in the press release. “I can’t think of a better place to start my post-playing career.”

Originally a third-round selection of the Steelers in 2010 out of SMU, Sanders caught 161 passes for 2,030 yards and eleven touchdowns over his four seasons in Pittsburgh.

Sanders’ career blossomed upon joining the Denver Broncos in 2014, where he played six seasons. Not only did Sanders post career-best numbers and earn his two Pro Bowl nods, but he and the Broncos won Super Bowl 50 in 2016. Sanders also played for the San Francisco 49ers, New Orleans Saints and Buffalo Bills. He retired as a Bronco on Sept. 7.

Sanders currently resides in Denver with his wife and two children.

“We got to see a glimpse of what Emmanuel could bring several years ago when he was a guest analyst on NFL GameDay Morning on Championship Sunday,” NFL Network Vice President, Executive Producer Charlie Yook said. “We are excited to have him join our family and create memorable content in the linear and digital space.”
