PITTSBURGH — Since Lamar Jackson took the helm as the Baltimore Ravens’ starting quarterback and the team recreated its offense to emphasize the running talents of its dynamic dual threat, the Pittsburgh Steelers have been the one NFL team that has had a ton of success in shutting down the Baltimore quarterback rushing attack.

In his career, Jackson has averaged 6.1 yards per carry as a rusher. Against Pittsburgh, he has averaged just 4.6 yards per carry. That’s the lowest figure among teams Jackson has faced more than twice.

But in the last game between the teams — and really the last two — it’s been the Baltimore running backs that have hurt the Steelers, not the quarterback.
