The Steelers worked on the practice field at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on Wednesday, even after finding out that their Week 4 game against the Tennessee Titans has been called off by the NFL.

Head coach Mike Tomlin said the focus was on individual work.

“We are trying to get better every day, and that is our approach to business,” Tomlin said. “Every day we take the field, we have areas of improvement whether it is skill development, whether it is an understanding of the game relative to the game or just collective cohesion. We talk openly about that. We had an opportunity to get better today. And, hopefully we did in certain areas, and that was our intention on a daily basis.”
