How to Watch Steelers Game vs. Panthers: Broadcast Down East Coast

Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt

Sunday afternoon’s matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Carolina Panthers will be broadcast down the East Coast from New Jersey to Georgia. Greg Gumbel and Adam Archuleta will be on the call.

Most of Pennsylvania, Ohio, and North Carolina; all of Maryland, West Virginia, South Carolina, and Delaware; and parts of New Jersey, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia will see the eighth all-time meeting between the two teams on CBS.

The Panthers won the first-ever encounter, which was in December 1996, but Pittsburgh has won all six clashes since then, the latest coming in 2018. Carolina comes in with the momentum, having won two in a row. In a weak NFC South division, they have a chance at winding up with a playoff spot.

The Steelers, meanwhile, aren’t yet sure who will start behind center, as rookie Kenny Pickett was placed in concussion protocol after taking a sack on Sunday. Mike Tomlin said in his Tuesday press conference that Mitch Trubisky and Mason Rudolph would share snaps in practice, but if Pickett’s good to go, he’ll be out there.

Most of the country will watch Kansas City visit Houston, while the other game in the early slot will be Detroit’s tilt with the New York Jets. The latter will be shown on televisions in 26 different states, ranging from Montana to Florida to Maine.

Cincinnati’s matchup with Tampa Bay in the late slot will dominate the air waves on CBS. The New York Giants will play Washington on Sunday Night Football.
