The Pittsburgh Steelers defense in general, and outside linebacker T.J. Watt specifically, are getting plenty of hype from their performance in an 18-10 Week 1 victory over the Atlanta Falcons that saw the Steelers shut out Atlanta in the second half. Watt was a monster, looking every bit like an early favorite to win his second NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award.
That’s drawn plenty of attention from national media, a group that seemed to be down on Watt and these same Steelers a year ago.
