Ja’Marr Chase is inactive on the field for the Bengals’ Week 11 showdown against the Steelers –– but he stayed plenty active on Twitter.
Following a pass interference call on cornerback Mike Hilton against Steelers receiver George Pickens, Chase fired off the following tweet:
dam i need them calls for me

The call proved costly for the Bengals, too, as it extended the Steelers’ drive and allowed them to tie the game.
Kenny Pickett connected with Pickens in the endzone on a 24-yard strike, knotting the game at 17 in the process.

In fairness to both Chase and the Bengals, it did appear to be a close call in favor of the Steelers. While there was some contact, we’ve seen worse in the NFL with no call.
Former Bengals receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh wasn’t too happy about the call, either. He took things a step further with the following tweet:
Joe Burrow slides & gets hit, no flag! Yet, they call a BS PI call to help Steelers keep drive alive! Sad how these refs control CERTAIN games

That said, if the “ball don’t lie,” Pickett and Pickens made sure to leave no doubt later in the drive.
