The top CBS broadcast crew of Jim Nantz and Tony Romo will be on the call when the Steelers visit the Cleveland Browns on October 31. Tracy Wolfson typically handles sideline reporting duties for that crew.
The game will be broadcast regionally with a 1 p.m. kick off. It will be broadcast locally on KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh.
The game has become an important one, with both Cleveland and Pittsburgh falling off the early pace in the division. The 4-3 Browns are one game and the 3-3 Steelers are one and a half games behind the AFC North leaders, with Cincinnati and Baltimore tied at 5-2.
It’s also a rematch of the 2020 AFC Wild Card Game that ended the Steelers’ season after the team started out 11-0, with the Browns getting their first postseason victory since 1994 in the process.
The game will also be played on Halloween, which should make for an even more colorful than usual cast of characters in Cleveland’s legendary Dawg Pound.
It will be the second time Nantz and Romo have called a Steelers game this season. They were also on the mic for the team’s trip to Green Bay in Week 4.
