Jim Nantz, Tony Romo to Call Steelers-Chiefs Game
The top CBS Sports broadcast crew of Jim Nantz and Tony Romo will broadcast the Steelers’ Week 16 game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
The game has a 4:25 p.m. kickoff from Arrowhead Stadium on CBS nationally and KDKA-TV Channel 2 in Pittsburgh.
It’s the second straight week the Steelers’ broadcast will feature the top broadcast team from CBS. Tracy Wolfson will handle sideline reporting duties.
In addition to featuring some top stars like T.J. Watt and Patrick Mahomes, the game has significant playoff implications. The Chiefs can clinch a playoff berth with a win and will clinch the AFC West with a win and a Los Angeles Chargers loss to the Houston.
The Chiefs are one of three AFC teams that can clinch a playoff berth this week, along with New England (vs. Buffalo) and Tennessee (vs. San Francisco on Thursday night).
The 7-6-1 Steelers are assured of moving into second place in the AFC North with a win, as 8-6 co-leaders Baltimore and Cincinnati are playing one another.
In addition to the television broadcast, the game will be carried on the Steelers Radio Network, with Bill Hillgrove, Craig Wolfley and Max Starks on the call across the network and on flagship 102.5 WDVE.
