JuJu Smith-Schuster Caught on Video Attempting Milk Crate Challenge

Social media trends are nothing new to Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, joining in on the fun that is the current dance or challenge of choice.

Less than two weeks before the Steelers take the field for week one in Buffalo on September 12, Smith-Schuster is seen attempting the viral ‘milk crate challenge’ in a video posted by comedian Matt Light.

The challenge involves scaling a pyramid formed by milk crates and successfully making it to the other side without falling, something many across the U.S. have attempted but failed, resulting in injury.

With the preseason over and Ben Roethlisberger in the final year of his deal, the Steelers can not afford to lose Smith-Schuster for an extended period of time after signing him to a one-year $8 million dollar deal to stay in Pittsburgh for a fifth season, especially to something as unnecessary as a social media challenge with much to lose and nothing to gain.

But that’s probably why two people are standing on either side of him ready to brace his fall, you know, just in case.
