Since the day he was drafted, Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster’s youthful energy and desire to fit into the city has made him a fan favorite.
He showed that in spades this weekend. With the team off for a three-day weekend during the midst of June OTAs, the 22-year-old receiver spent his weekend hawking one of Pittsburgh’s most proud products at one of its enduring institutions and making the day of a young fan.
Smith-Schuster was spotted on Saturday at Kennywood, handing out Heinz Ketchup. The park has recently come under fire for changing to Hunt’s this season instead of the more-popular brand that has its roots in Pittsburgh.
What’s more Pittsburgh than that?
Maybe going to prom at Chartiers Valley High School, which he also did this weekend after being asked by student Anthony Molinaro to attend.

Smith-Schuster’s comment on Twitter after the prom?
“??? Was so lit!!”
It seems like two years in the spotlight and stardom of the NFL haven’t changed the young wideout one bit.
