Just How Good Can Steelers Defense Be in 2024?
After finishing sixth in scoring last year while dealing with injuries, just how good can the Pittsburgh Steelers defense be in 2024?
After finishing inside the top-ten in scoring, EPA/play and success rate last season, the Pittsburgh Steelers defense enter the 2024 campaign with high expectations. The foundational pillars in T.J. Watt, Minkah Fitzpatrick and Cam Heyward remain but there are a couple exciting additions which should help alleviate some of issues they ran into in the past.
Steelers Now analyst Derrick Bell previews the defense position by position, talking through potential breakout players, potential weak spots that could arise once the competition gets stronger as well as how this unit can evolve from previous, albeit successful, iterations of itself.
