Already down multiple scores in the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Buffalo, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett displayed his athleticism scrambling for a first down.

Pickett reached the marker, but was struck by Bills safety Damar Hamlin as he slid at the line to gain.

While the apparently late hit went unpenalized by the officials, the Steelers were themselves flagged after guard James Daniels shoved Hamlin in defense of his quarterback.

The hit by Daniels negated a first down and promising Steelers drive, but it is hard to fault him for coming to Pickett’s aid.

Luckily for the Steelers, Pickett popped right up after the potentially dangerous play and continued his first career start.
