Two Pittsburgh Steelers players have already thrown out the first pitch at a Pirates game this season, and guard Kevin Dotson became the third ahead of the club’s game against the New York Mets on Sunday.
While Dotson missed high and outside, he was not entering the experience with much anxiety. Dotson tweeted that he was going throw the ball as hard as he possibly could ahead of the game.
I didn’t tell y’all but I’m throwing out the first pitch out today at the pirates game and I’m throwing that ho as hard as possible 🤣😂😂😂 top 10 or not top 10🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️— The reason for the wing shortage 🤷🏿♂️ (@kdd7696) July 18, 2021
Dotson may not have tossed a strike, but he did fair better than teammate Zach Banner, who bounced his attempt earlier this month.
