Khalil Mack among Four Bears Ruled Out vs. Steelers
Edge rusher Khalil Mack will miss the Chicago Bears’ game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday, the team announced on Friday, one of four Bears that have been ruled out for the game.
In addition to Mack, quarterback Nick Foles, tight end J.P. Holtz and running back Damien Williams are also out.
Mack has not played since Oct. 24 against Tampa Bay. He leads Chicago with six sacks and six tackles for loss. He did not practice all this week with a foot injury.
Williams is Chicago’s third-leading rusher behind rookie Khalil Herbert and David Montgomery. He did not practice this week with a knee injury.
Foles is the team’s third-string quarterback behind Justin Fields and Andy Dalton. Holtz, a backup tight end that’s a Shaler native and Pitt alum, has been dealing with a concussion.
