Two of the Steelers former Killer B’s are getting back together in Tampa.

The Buccaneers are expected to sign former Steelers running back, according to a report on Tuesday by Tom Pelissero of NFL.com. With the Bucs, Le’Veon Bell will join former teammate Antonio Brown. The move will be pending a physical.

The signing of Bell comes on he heels of the news that Tampa could be without starting running back Leonard Fournette. Fournette suffered a hamstring injury in the Bucs’ Week 15 loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

Tampa Bay will be Bell’s second team this season and fourth since leaving the Steelers in 2019. He played in five games for the Baltimore Ravens earlier this season, rushing 31 times for 83 yards and two touchdowns.

Bell signed with the New York Jets in 2019 after sitting out 2018 in Pittsburgh by refusing to sign his franchise tender. He ended up playing in 17 games for the Jets and rushing for 863 yards over a season and a half.

He caught on with Kansas City after his release from New York and made it all the way to the Super Bowl as a reserve player.

Bell and Brown played in Pittsburgh together from 2013 to 2017, before Bell’s holdout and Brown’s antics causing a trade at the end of the 2018 season. The Killer B’s of Brown, Bell and Ben Roethlisberger formed one of the NFL’s most potent offenses, under the direction of coordinator Bruce Arians, now the head coach in Tampa.
