Larry Ogunjobi and Steelers New Defensive Line Depth

Steelers Now reporter Chris Carter digs deep on the Pittsburgh Steelers and the NFL Monday through Friday all year long on Locked on Steelers.

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi Tuesday, replacing he spot on the roster left open by Stephon Tuitt’s retirement. But what does Ogunjobi bring to the table? He had a career high seven sacks last season, but can he help fix the run defense? The answer to that is more about the Steelers defensive line rotation. Ogunjobi would add to Cam Heyward, Tyson Alualu, Chris Wormley, DeMarvin Leal, Montravious Adams, Isaiahh Loudermilk, Carlos Davis and Khalil Davis. That depth could be the key to keeping fresh bodies on the defensive line with talent and experience.
