INDIANAPOLIS — Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Omar Khan said on Thursday that the team has “full faith” in quarterback Kenny Pickett, and that the team expects him to improve in 2024 with new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith running the offense.

He also then went out and talked at length about how the Steelers will add to their quarterbacks room this offseason, that Pickett will have to compete to keep the starting job in 2024, and how he’s not eliminating any method of adding to the position this offseason, including trades, free agency and the draft.

So does he really have full faith in Pickett?

Alan Saunders joined Chris Carter on the Locked On Podcast to try to make some sense of Khan’s statements, plus talk about the Steelers’ plans at center and cornerback in the 2024 NFL Draft, based on what they’re hearing at the NFL Combine.
