The Pittsburgh Steelers needed a wide receiver, even before they traded away starter Diontae Johnson last week. Now, they definitely need a wide receiver, and they probably need two to go along with returning star George Pickens in the team’s wide receiver room.

But should the Steelers put all their eggs in one basket by trying to swing a trade for a big-name receiver like Brandon Ayiuk, Stefon Diggs or Justin Jefferson? Or would they be better off spreading their available assets around, signing someone like Tyler Boyd in free agency and then turning to the 2024 NFL Draft to complete the receiving corps.

Alan Saunders joined Chris Carter on the Locked On Podcast to discuss how the Steelers could and should add to their receiving corps, along with what the team plans to do at center, now that most of the best options have been plucked from the free agent market.
