Steelers Now reporter Chris Carter digs deep on the Pittsburgh Steelers and the NFL Monday through Friday all year long on Locked on Steelers. Diontae Johnson returned to the Pittsburgh Steelers at OTAs Tuesday, ending any speculation of contract questions or a potential holdout before minicamp. But his arrival also set a strong tone for rookies like Kenny Pickett and Calvin Austin III who were excited to work with the Steelers’ WR1.

Kenny Pickett also discussed how the quarterback competition with Mitch Trubisky and Mason Rudolph has been. To him, it’s les about competition and more about learning Matt Canada’s offense.

Finally, Cam Heyward interrupted Pickett’s locker room interview in a funny moment, but it also showed how dedicated he is to teaching about leadership and the Steelers’ way to the next generation.
