Brandon Aiyuk is unhappy and said the San Francisco 49ers don’t want him anymore in a video posted to TikTok on Monday. But what is fact and what is fiction about his situation with the 49ers, and does the fact that he appears not to be happy make it any more likely that Omar Khan and the Pittsburgh Steelers will come swooping in to make a big trade?

The Steelers clearly have a need at wide receiver, and Aiyuk is clearly frustrated by the progress in negotiating an extension with San Francisco, though the side are reportedly only $4 million per year apart at this point.

Alan Saunders joined Chris Carter on the Locked On Podcast to break down the situation, whether the news from Monday makes a trade more likely, and whether the Steelers should even want to sign him to the $30 million per year contract that he’s asking for. The guys also broke down some secondary offensive skill position breakout options and talked about Hard Knocks coming to the AFC North.
