Cam Heyward said he wasn’t coming to Pittsburgh Steelers OTAs while he was negotiating a contract extension with the club. He reported to OTAs on Tuesday. He doesn’t have a contract extension.

So what gives?

Heyward said he and the team remain far apart on contract details and doesn’t expect to get a deal done any time soon. He also said that he thinks he can play for three more seasons and that he can be a top-five player at his position.
