Locked On Steelers: What Type of QB Fits Best in Arthur Smith’s Offense?

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a new offense with coordinator Arthur Smith, and they will looking to sign, trade for or draft at least two more quarterbacks to go with Kenny Pickett in that room for the 2024 season.

So what are the characteristics that make a quarterback successful in Smith’s scheme? Mike Tomlin has talked for years about the impact of quarterback mobility. Is it a deal-breaker for that position, or could someone with less mobility like Mason Rudolph thrive in the team’s new offensive scheme?

Alan Saunders of Steelers Now joined the Locked On Steelers Podcast with host Chris Carter to discuss that.
