With the unbeaten Pittsburgh Steelers’ 28-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, head coach Mike Tomlin made some history.

Tomlin won his 140th career game, and passed Tony Dungy to become the winningest Black head coach in NFL history.

Dungy congratulated Tomlin on the milestone Sunday evening via Twitter.

Hired in 2007, Tomlin has never had a losing season in Pittsburgh and led the Steelers to two Super Bowl appearances, winning the franchise’s sixth over the Arizona Cardinals in 2009.

Dungy had just one losing season over his 13 year head coaching career between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Indianapolis Colts, winning Super Bowl XLI. He also spent two years in Pittsburgh as a player, and served as Steelers defensive coordinator for the first five seasons of coaching career.

The last remaining undefeated team in the NFL, the Steelers are 7-0 for the first time since 1978 when Dungy was on the team. The Hall of Famer had six interceptions and two fumble recoveries that season.
