Pittsburgh Steelers free safety Minkah Fitzpatrick and Maya Stokes welcomed a baby boy named Uzai into the world earlier this week on Monday, Oct. 7 at 5:44 p.m. Allegheny Health Network revealed the news on Friday afternoon, via our partners at WPXI.

Dr. Ronald Cypher, OB/GYN at Allegheny Health Network and the preferred OB/GYN provider for the Pittsburgh Steelers, delivered Fitzpatrick and Maya’s son at Allegheny Health Network’s labor & delivery unit at Wexford hospital. He weighed 6 lbs. 8 oz.

Fitzpatrick, 27, is in his seventh NFL season. He has played in 94 games and started 89 of them. In his 94 appearances, Fitzpatrick has tallied 547 tackles, 19 interceptions, four forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and 51 passes defended. Four of his 19 interceptions were returned for touchdowns. He has also recorded a fumble return for a touchdown. In his career, he’s been named first-team All-Pro three times and selected to four Pro Bowls.

The Steelers traded the team’s 2020 first-round pick, 2020 fifth-round pick, and 2021 sixth-round pick to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for Fitzpatrick, a 2020 fourth-round pick, and a 2021 seventh-round pick on Sept. 16, 2019.

Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt and kicker Chris Boswell will join Fitzpatrick as dad’s soon. They both recently announced that their wives are expecting a baby.

Watt and his wife Dani are expecting their first child in February of 2025. T.J. and Dani revealed the news on Instagram in early September.

Boswell and his wife, Havana, are expecting a baby boy in March 2025. The couple got married in early June.

“We are over the moon to be adding onto our little family! Baby Boswell coming March 2025!” the Boswells wrote in an Instagram post on Sept. 20.
