Minkah Fitzpatrick Leading AFC Pro Bowl Voting

Steelers FS Minkah Fitzpatrick

The leading vote-getters for the 2023 Pro Bowl Games were released Monday afternoon, and Pittsburgh Steelers free safety Minkah Fitzpatrick paces the AFC at his position with 56,306 votes.

Fitzpatrick is the only Steelers player that is tops in the balloting. Meanwhile, Baltimore guard Kevin Zeitler, kicker Justin Tucker, linebacker Roquan Smith, and special teamer Justice Hill are in front of the AFC at their respective positions.

On the offensive side of the football, Kansas City and Miami are well-represented. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, tight end Travis Kelce, and center Creed Humphrey pace voting. The Dolphins have standouts in fullback Alec Ingold, wideout Tyreek Hill, and tackle Terron Armstead. Tennessee tailback Derrick Henry is also a popular vote-getter.

The Minnesota Vikings, Ravens, Chiefs, Dolphins, and Philadelphia Eagles have the most votes by team. Minnesota’s Justin Jefferson has the most votes of any player, with 90,313.

Roster choices will be determined by the consensus vote of fans, players, and coaches. Starting Dec. 1, fans will have two weeks to make their picks via Twitter.

Fitzpatrick has registered 48 takedowns, 29 of which have been solo stops. He also has three picks and seven passes defended. He also returned from an appendectomy rather quickly earlier in the season, which is a testament to his toughness.

The Pro Bowl Games will be held throughout the course of a week and will showcase 88 players’ talents in a new format of celebration. The AFC vs. NFC competition will be capped by a flag football game and a major musical performance at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium. Tickets are set to go on sale on Thursday, Dec. 1, and can be bought at probowl.com/tickets.
