Minkah Fitzpatrick Ranked No. 52 Player in NFL Top 100
After Cam Hayward checked in as the first Pittsburgh Steelers player to crack the NFL Top 100 list at No. 57, a second defensive playmaker has made his presence known five spots later.
Free safety Minkah Fitzpatrick has been ranked the 52nd best player in the NFL by his piers, becoming the second Steelers player of the night within the top 60. NFL players vote each season on who they believe are the top players in the game, compiling votes into a top 100 list.
Fitzpatrick dropped 17 spots in his second appearance on the list after being locked into the 2020 countdown at No. 35.
Coming off of his second-straight season being named a 1st-Team All Pro and to the Pro Bowl, Fitzpatrick recorded 79-combined total tackles, four interceptions, one forced fumble and fumble recovery, along with one defensive touchdown in all 16 regular-season contests.
The fourth-year player will begin his third season and second full year in the black and gold after being traded to Pittsburgh on September 16, 2019, two weeks into the 2019 season.
