Steelers ILB Myles Jack

BALTIMORE — Inside linebacker Myles Jack will play for the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, despite being listed as questionable with a groin injury.

Jack played in a limited role in the team’s Week 16 games against the Las Vegas Raiders. He missed the Week 15 game in Carolina. Jack did not practice on Wednesday and was limited on Thursday and Friday.

Even with Jack dressed, Robert Spillane should expected to see a large role for the Steelers at inside linebacker against the run-heavy Ravens. He has played every Steelers defensive snap over the last two weeks.

Behind Spillane, rookie Mark Robinson is active for the fourth time the season, after season-ending bicep surgery for Marcus Allen. Robinson should see significant playing time on special teams. New inside linebacker Tae Crowder, signed from the New York Giants practice squad this week will sit for the game.

Safety Tre Norwood will miss the game with a hamstring injury. He suffered the injury against the Las Vegas Raiders, leaving more room for Elijah Riley to step up and take some of his snaps. Terrell Edmunds will be back in the lineup for the Steelers after missing last week.

Quarterback Mason Rudolph, guard Kendrick Green, and defensive tackle Jonathan Marshall are part of the weekly inactives and that continues for Sunday’s game. None of them will play. Pittsburgh will have Larry Ogunjobi for the game after he was upgraded from questionable on Saturday. In addition, practice squad defensive tackle Renell Wren will make his season debut as he was elevated from the practice squad.
