Steelers running back Najee Harris has been named the 2021 winner of the Joe Greene Great Performance Award, given annually by the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Pro Football Writers of America to the team’s best rookie contributor.
Harris leads all rookies with 1,172 rushing yards, which is a new Steelers record, breaking the mark set by Franco Harris in 1972. He is fourth in the NFL overall in rushing.
Harris also leads NFL running backs in total touches with 366, and does not have a fumble on the season. He has 10 total touchdowns.
