With the NFL legal tampering period officially opened up, Tuesday should be filled with just as many free agent signings as Monday brought. The Steelers, who need a variety of different roles and positions filled through free agency, have signed just a quarterback and a punter through the first full day of free agency.
Following the first day of free agency, we’ve updated the outlook for the Steelers at three positions: center, safety and linebacker:
Dried-Up Center Market Gives Steelers Urgency at Position
Big Names Remain after Whirlwind Day 1 Free Agent Linebacker Signings
Steelers Waiting Patiently on Safety Market to Develop
Remember, any contract agreed upon before Wednesday is just a verbal agreement as the upcoming free agent’s current contract does not expire until the official start of free agency. That happens on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
