The NFL free agent contact period rolls into its third day on Wednesday, and official moves are now on the horizon. NFL teams can legally contact free agents for the third straight day on Wednesday, and there will likely still be more unofficial moves rolling in throughout the day.
Starting at 4 p.m., moves agreed to since the start of the contact period can become official, so expect a flurry of news this afternoon. The Steelers also had a 4 p.m. NFL deadline to tender a contract to their four restricted free agent players: RB Godwin Igewbuike, DT Renell Wren, ILB Chapelle Russell and LS Christian Kuntz.
