The NFL announced Friday that Super Wild Card Weekend will include a Monday night game.

Super Wild Card Weekend will now run from Saturday, Jan. 15 through Monday, Jan. 17.

A pair of Wild Card games will now be played on Saturday, but there will still be triple header on Sunday.

The broadcast rights for the new Monday night Wild Card game have yet to be determined.

CBS and NBC currently have the broadcast rights to two games apiece on Wild Card Weekend. FOX and ESPN/ABC will produce one each.

The league expanded the playoffs a season ago for the first time since 1990 by adding an additional Wild Card team in each conference. They subsequently dubbed opening round Super Wild Card Weekend as a result.
