The NFL and Bell Media have agreed to terms on a deal that will expand the NFL’s Canadian broadcast rights.

The two sides agreed to a deal on Monday allowing Bell Media to remain the exclusive home of American football in the country on channels including TSN, CTV, CTV2, RDS, and live streaming.

Games will also be available on official apps and websites plus TSN Direct and RDS Direct subscriptions.

Canadians will be able to watch regular-season games including all of Thursday Night Football, Sunday Night Football, and Monday Night Football telecasts, even the Monday night games broadcast on ABC.

The deal also includes NFL games in the Sunday 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. windows, all international games, playoff games, and the Super Bowl. The announcement stated that the Super Bowl is “the most-watched television event in Canada.”

NFL RedZone is included in the package to details all the best highlights and scoring drives inside the 20-yard line.

“The popularity of the NFL in Canada has never been greater, with fan interest in the league growing across the country each season. We’re thrilled to continue to bring the NFL to Canadian fan through our multi-platform coverage,” Bell Media Sales and Sports Senior Vice-President Stewart Johnston said in a statement.

A slate of ESPN shows like NFL LIVE, NFL COUNTDOWN, and the NFL Draft will be featured on TSN along with fantasy news and betting odds through TSN edge. More information on NFL coverage in Canada can be found at TSN.ca/NFL.

TSN will continue its tradition of broadcasting NFL games since the 1987 season. CTV began airing professional football in 2007.

There are 29 active Canadian players in the NFL. Wide receiver Chase Claypool is the lone Canadian player on the Steelers roster.
