NFL Network to Broadcast Two Steelers Preseason Games
Steelers fans outside the Pittsburgh television market will now still get a preseason look at their team. The NFL Network announced on Tuesday that it will have 13 live preseason broadcasts, including two contests featuring the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The network will broadcast the Steelers preseason opener against the Tampa Bay Buccanneers on Friday, August 9 and also the Steelers’ home Week 2 preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Both games will kick off at 7:30 p.m.
The Steelers’ Week 3 game in Nashville against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, August 25 will be broadcast nationally by NBC, meaning that only the preseason finale at Carolina on Thursday, August 29 will not be available nationwide. That game and both of the games that NFL Network picked up will be broadcast locally by KDKA-TV.
All of the Steelers preseason and regular season games are also available through the Steelers Radio Network, with local flagships 102.2 WDVE-FM and 970 WBGG-AM.
