The NFL has finalized the full preseason schedule for the 2023 season, including the three games for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the league announced on Wednesday.

The Steelers will play two games on the road and one at Acrisure Stadium, as part of the rotation started with the move to a 17-game schedule in 2021.

The 2023 preseason will start for the Steelers on Friday, Aug. 11, when they will travel to Tampa Bay to take on the Buccaneers. That game will have a 7 p.m. kickoff time. The Steelers have not traveled to Tampa since 2018. Bucs advisor to the general manager Bruce Arians and assistant coaches Harold Goodwin, Larry Foote and Tom Moore are all former Steelers.

In preseason Week 2, the Steelers will host the Buffalo Bills at Acrisure Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 19. That game will kick off at 6:30 p.m. The Steelers and Bills have faced each other in the regular season in four consecutive seasons, with Buffalo wining three of the four.

The Steelers’ third and final preseason game will be on Thursday, Aug. 24, with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff against the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Downtown Atlanta. The Steelers will make their second trip in less than a year to Atlanta, following last season’s 19-16 Week 13 victory.

All three of the Steelers’ preseason games will air locally on KDKA-TV Pittsburgh, as well as the Steelers Radio Network, with flagship 102.5 WDVE-FM. The Steelers will not appear exclusively on national television during the preseason, but NFL Network may also choose to pick up some games for national rebroadcast at a later date.
