Thanks to beating the Ravens and some help, and assuming the Raiders and Chargers don’t tie, we know the Steelers will be headed to the playoffs as the 7 seed and will face the back-to-back defending AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs. We now also know when that Wild Card Round matchup will take place.

In the midst of Sunday Night Football, the final game of the regular season, the NFL announced its opening round postseason schedule, which includes a Monday night game for the first time.

The 2 seeded Chiefs will host the AFC’s 7th seed, the spot the Steelers will hold in the playoffs, on Sunday night. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 pm EST and the game will be broadcast nationally on NBC and the NBC branded streaming service Peacock.

As far as the rest of the schedule goes, the AFC North champion Bengals will battle the 5 seed at 4:30 EST on Saturday and the 6 seed is set for a trip to Buffalo against the 3 seed AFC East winner Bills that same night at 8:15 on CBS.

In the NFC, FOX will broadcast the 2 seed defending Super Bowl champion Buccaneers against Philadelphia at 1 pm on Sunday and the NFC East division winning Cowboys and the 6 seeded 49ers will play at 4:30 pm on CBS in the first postseason meeting between the two historic franchises since 1993. The round ends with a rare Monday night playoff showdown between rivals between 4 seed Rams and 5 seed Cardinals.
