NFL to Release 2022 Season Schedules on May 12
Mark your calendars for May 12, football fans. Steelers fans already know the opponents Pittsburgh will face throughout the 2022 regular season, but the NFL Network announced that the dates and times for the games will be officially released in a few weeks.
Like the rest of the AFC North, the Steelers will face teams from the AFC East and the NFC South.
In addition to facing each AFC North team once at home and once on the road, the New England Patriots, New York Jets, New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will visit Pittsburgh.
The Las Vegas Raiders of the AFC West will also come to Heinz Field.
Pittsburgh will travel to meet the Atlanta Falcons, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles.
Due to the addition of a 17th game before the 2021 season, the Steelers will have an additional road game this year. The NFL rotates the 17th game on a home/away basis each year.
