Odds: Ravens Surpass Steelers as New Favorites to Win AFC North
Following Saturday’s 34-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Baltimore Ravens are now the new favorites to win the AFC North with 5/8 odds (-160), according to BetOnline.ag.
Prior to Week 16, the Steelers were the favorites with 5/8 odds. The Steelers now have 13/10 odds to win the AFC North (+130).
The Steelers and Ravens are currently tied at 10-5 atop the division, but the Steelers currently hold the lead thanks to the fourth tiebreaker — a better record in AFC games.
That means that if the Steelers and Ravens both sweep their final two game, or if the Steelers and Ravens both go 0-2 in their final two games, the Steelers will win the division. The Steelers control their own fate.
The Steelers finish the season against the 14-1 Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day and at home against the Cincinnati Bengals in the regular season finale. The Ravens face the Houston Texans on the road and host the Cleveland Browns in their last two games.

Prior to the season, ESPN BET listed the Steelers at +750 to win the AFC North. Those were the lowest odds of any team in the grouping. Meanwhile, Baltimore was favored at +140. Cincinnati (+150 preseason odds) and Cleveland (+550) have faded, making it a two-horse race between Baltimore and Pittsburgh.
ESPN BET currently tabs the Ravens at +700 to win Super Bowl LIX. The Steelers are at +3500, right in front of Los Angeles Chargers (+4000). Those are the third- and fourth-best odds in the AFC, behind Kansas City (+375) and Buffalo (+450). Kansas City is the favorite to raise the Lombardi Trophy.
