The Pittsburgh Steelers have come out on top in three of their last four outings after beating Carolina on Sunday, and they’re 1.5-point favorites in their upcoming Christmas Eve matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders. The FanDuel Sportsbook betting lines also give the Steelers a -136 money line, while the visiting Raiders are considered +116 underdogs.

The over/under total for the clash is set at 40.5 points.

While rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett’s possible return factors into the odds, Pittsburgh’s running game has proven to be a steady force as of late. Najee Harris and company have gone for at least 100 yards on the ground in all but one of their previous seven contests.

Las Vegas (6-8) won in crazy fashion — with no time left on the clock — Sunday, as a New England lateral landed in Chandler Jones’ hands and the former Patriot returned it for a touchdown to break a 24-all tie. The Raiders have now won four of their last five.

Most known for contentious matchups in the 1970s, the rivalry between the Steelers (6-8) and Raiders has had plenty of enthralling encounters. Las Vegas leads the all-time series, 17-13, and has won both of the last two meetings between the teams. Since 2006, the Raiders are 6-2 against Pittsburgh.

They met in September 2021, with Las Vegas downing the Steelers, 26-17, in the Steel City. Derek Carr completed 28 of his 37 passes for 382 yards and two scores, which went to Foster Moreau and Henry Ruggs III.

Arguably the most famous play in professional football history — the Immaculate Reception — will be recognized as part of the festivities leading up to the game.
